Appeal for outdoor space and play area

 https://localgiving.org/appeal/outdoorarea/

We are hoping to raise enough money to buy a large gazebo to house outdoor play for children, which can also support other activities.

Due to COVID social distance restrictions there is not enough room in our Centre to welcome back our groups.

We hope to put a gazebo on our patio area so that children’s activities can continue in all weathers. Parents are telling us their children are missing the activities and their friends at:

  • Stay and Play

  • Glowyr Bach

  • Lego Club

  • Children’s crafts

we want to provide a safe space for our early years’ groups so that children and their parents get a chance to meet and play together again.

When the gazebo is not being used by our children’s activities, it would provide us with extra space for other activities for our grown-up children, who all need a safe and weatherproof place to meet.  We need outdoor spaces for:

  • Elderberries,

  • Chair exercise and dance groups

  • Volunteers

  • Gardening group.

We are hoping to raise £900 to buy a sturdy gazebo with a structure that will last. Any additional funding would go towards playmats and other equipment. or direct to the Centre for the Appeal.

Please help us by giving what you can to  https://localgiving.org/appeal/outdoorarea/

We are currently raising money to help us stay in touch with our community throughout the pandemic. Our doors maybe closed but we are working as hard as ever to support the well-being of our community through our website, social media, WhatsApp groups, and good old-fashioned phone calls.

All of our content is available, for free, for everyone. However, if you would like to give, even the cost of a class or anything you can, we would be really and are always grateful for your support.

Please help us share the message.

Please help us raise awareness and secure funding for the Miners Centre so that we can support our community during the difficult months ahead.
