Knitting Project

All year

The knitting project invites people to knit rectangles that will be crocheted together to create blankets. In November we donate the blankets to charities and those in need in our community. This is a great way to get involved with the Miners from your home.

Knitting Instructions:

Cast on 40 stitches using double knit wool and 4mm needles (old size 8). Working in garter stitch (every row knit) work until your rectangle measures 10 ½ inches (approx. 110 rows). Cast off.
